Creating high-quality products in funky, ethnic African designs and images

Affromania, a long-held dream, was formed in 1992. The main aim was to translate and interpret the essence of African design and art into a language that would have meaning across the globe.

The root of inspiration was the people of Africa and their culture: their fabrics, designs and implements as well as the natural surroundings, including the wildlife and breathtaking scenery.

Affromania initially created a range of greeting cards, wrapping paper and various other stationery with funky, ethnic designs and pictures. Today, the company mainly focuses on uniquely designed glass products like wine and cocktail glasses, ashtrays, coasters, trophies and custom items.

It does however also manufacture products like the aforementioned stationery, t-shirts, mousepads, and millenium memorabilia.
